Important results from the project

The project aims to, through the development of a platform that helps local energy companies find investment paths that provide acceleration in several stages and overtime in contrast to what we see today where they push for necessary investments in favor of the daily, unsustainable technology in the existing the business. The aim project is to take known research and implement it in energy companies to bring about change and acceleration. The platform / model aims to utilize the opportunities that the fourth industrial revolution brings in a sustainable way.

Expected long term effects

The project can see that acceleration in energy companies is very much a matter of resources and the care of the financial outcome that these resources provide. It is clear that one of the keys to acceleration lies in the energy company´s ability to handle the new requirements financially and commercially efficiently. During the work of crystallizing influencing factors, the project notes that there are strategic areas and catalytic areas. The energy company needs to handle both to be able to accelerate.

Approach and implementation

The project has been completely dependent on the group´s all parties contributing time, knowledge and resources in an open and committed way. It is thanks to these commitments that the project has reached objective, despite Corona and other challenges with only minor delays. The project chose early on to adopt an exploratory model based on explore / exploit processes (https://www.vinnova.se/publikationer / the-innovation-platform /, Ulf Mannervik and Niklas Arvidsson) The analysis took place in the group where interviews and data were dissected.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
