Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to develop prototypes that would be ready for testing in connection with the project end date with previous user evaluations as a basis. The major focus areas of the project have been to update and develop existing software as well as to adapt and expand the phrase library on which the translation tool is based. The project´s goals have been met and prototypes are ready for testing.

Expected long term effects

Prototypes are completed according to project goals and begin to be tested in connection with the project´s end date. The prototypes gives us in the near future an opportunity to reach paying customers in the Swedish and European markets and give us a greater opportunity to get investors to invest in our company. The final products based on prototypes will be able to help millions of people get better care while simplifying their careers and reducing their costs.

Approach and implementation

The project was initiated by analyzing user logs and user evaluations from previous pilot versions. Focus groups were held with healthcare professionals from several clinics to evaluate needs in prototypes. Translators were recruited and used to compile a new library of phrases. New software for iOS and Android was updated and developed to allow two-way translation. CMS was updated and a cloud service was set up to handle a growing amount of material and data. New user interfaces have been developed.
