Important results from the project

4 goals in the project: 1) We have an AI solution that reliably enough identifies people based on risk of problem gambling: Monthly run with good precision. 2) Identified and implemented measures aimed at reducing gambling: Measures implemented. 3) The proportion of players with a high risk value is decreasing: We have already seen a tendency towards a decrease in individuals. Need more time. 4) Organizational learning: AI is now a strategic effort and we have several new initiatives ongoing.

Expected long term effects

Goal 3 and 4 are long-term goals and effects of the project: 3) Players reduce their gambling and the proportion of players with a high risk value decreases over time. 4) Organizational learning: AI is a strategic effort, AI and digitalisation are a core competence and we have created an AI Vision, AI ambition and Guidelines for the use of AI.

Approach and implementation

The project proceeded smoothly and according to schedule with weekly project meetings. We stuck well to the 8 work packages that we had stipulated in our application and we did not encounter major obstacles. At the beginning of the project, we had some legal aspects that we had to consider, but there were no major delays due to that. Preparation and cleaning of data took longer than expected, but we caught up with that time later. The collaboration both internally and with the supplier worked well.
