Important results from the project

The purpose and goal of the project was for the company to increase the knowledge of the company´s Intellectual properties (IP) as how these assets can be protected and developed in the future. The goal was achieved with through a project together with a patent office with high competence in the field. Together, we have identified and developed a short-term as well as a long-term IP strategy for the company. The purpose of the strategy is to formulate a strategic plan to protect and develop BudID´s IP assets.

Expected long term effects

The work has resulted in a report with clear recommendations regarding the IP strategy for the company. The report will be used as a basis for future strategic IP decisions.

Approach and implementation

The work was carried out by BudID together with a patent bureau. In total, five meetings have been held between the parties. These meetings have been essential to ensure the relevance of the project to BudID.
