Important results from the project

The purpose of the project was to investigate the potential market for the technologies developed by Sally R. Since all techs are in different maturity stages, this has also been considered for the amount of focus for the research degree per tech. A product development plan is developed and go-to-market plans per tech is on its way. In parallel to this, Sally R continuously informs about the importance of clean air with the goal to ensure that air quality is measured and improved. All techs are named after historical women in science, which we highlight as often as we can.

Expected long term effects

The result of the work has meant that we today have a product development plan based on the insights we gained from market research and competition analysis. We have been able to set a plan for the order in which we should choose to go to the market with our products / technologies, and also how we should adapt to demand in a more clear way, mainly for the products / technologies that are closest to the market.

Approach and implementation

We started the project by putting together a marketing research unit with students from Uppsala University. Five students who have formed three different teams, focusing on one-two technologies each. They have set up their own plan for how to proceed with market research for each technology / product as part of their degree project. This with great guidance from employees at Sally R. In parallel with this, we have worked internally, partly with insights from the students´ work, with product development plan and go-to-market plans, as well as some IPR work to protect our work.

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
