Important results from the project
During 2019, BioLyftet has fulfilled the aim of training and coaching Swedish SMEs towards the implementation of sustainable materials as alternatives to conventional, fossil-based materials. The trainings have been very well attended and the reception overwhelmingly positive.
Expected long term effects
Almost 100 companies have participated. Most of these have left BioLyftet with a concrete plan on how to begin their transition to sustainable material choices. At the time of writing this report, several companies have already implemented sustainable materials in their products as a direct result of BioLyftet.
Approach and implementation
As described in the attached report, BioLyftet´s structure is based on breakfast meetings and two training days that are conducted in different parts of the country. This combined with the fact that participation is free of charge and that TEKO, IKEM and the Forest Industries are behind the training material have contributed to BioLyftet´s successful reception from the industry.
