Important results from the project

The project consisted of three overarching tasks: Task 1 - To define study requirements and prepare Phase I/IIa study to be undertaken in the Phase 2 project, and to review Edvince´s current state and external environment, and gain an understanding of the European and international markets and competition; Task 2 - To develop a business strategy in accordance with Edvince´s vision, values and long-term development & revenue goals; Task 3 - To formulate the final business strategy and the business plan.

Expected long term effects

The project resulted in the completion of a Phase I/II clinical trial application for submission to the competent authority. The project also resulted in a comprehensive understanding of the market and the landscape Edvince is acting within, and established a foundation for the continued development of the business in relation to the market forces at play. The outcome of the tasks is a more refined business strategy and alignment of the business plan in accordance with the new learnings as well as a thorough plan to reach the next inflection point.

Approach and implementation

The project was divided in three major tasks, where task 1 was conducted by Edvince in conjunction with expert consultants, task 2 and 3 were conducted the Edvince. Task 1 established a foundation for the two subsequent activities, and was facilitated considerably by the expertise that was engaged both qualitatively and timewise.
