Purpose and goal

The project aims to increase collaboration between two universities within Artificial Intelligence, with a specific focus on AI for health. Artificial Intelligence has traditionally been an area with an uneven gender distribution with an emphasis on male researchers. The department of Applied IT contributes an equality aspect to the problem area through a greater focus on societal effects such as gender equality/equality, transparency, and justice.

Expected effects and result

The expected effects are an established collaboration between both project parties in the AI area both in research and education.

Planned approach and implementation

During the research stay, the incoming researcher will collaborate with researchers at the host organization in the field of artificial intelligence, recommender systems, and information systems. Other activities include participation in seminars and workshops at the host organization.
