Important results from the project

Two out of three goals were achieved. The product was further developed, and we conducted additional offshore tests as planned. Some KPIs were established, and we are satisfied with the results. We have come much further and gained a better foundation for the next step in the development. The third goal was not met, as we encountered some challenges. However, this resulted in new projects and a new product offering.

Expected long term effects

The results from the project have provided us with greater insight into our challenges and opportunities, and with this knowledge, we can better plan our production and distribution in both the short and long term. In this way, we are creating a stronger foundation for our focus on ocean-based CDR CDR (Carbon Dioxide Removal), with the goal of making the company a part of the solution to global warming.

Approach and implementation

We planned the project to further develop the product, carry out further tests at sea and prepare for first sales. Physical tests were conducted on site in Kenya together with our local partners. Methods were further developed so that the site can continue under its own management. There is now an established team on site with a production manager and a deployment manager. Together we learned important conclusions to be able to scale up production both in Kenya and other sites.
