Important results from the project

** Denna text är auto gen ** The strategic program has coordinated and strengthened AI Sweden´s initiatives and project in the language area. This has made it possible for us to stay at the absolute forefront of development, thereby maximizing the value of ongoing initiatives. The program has strengthened our position as the Swedish knowledge hub for major language models, with contact surfaces and effects that extend nationally, as well as Nordic and European. The program has enabled initiate new project from new funding opportunities, build new partnerships and find new partners.

Expected long term effects

** Denna text är auto gen** The project has strengthened Sweden´s leading position in major language models. An example of this is the EU project that AI Sweden is now participating in. It has also resulted in concrete resources (competence, data, models and frameworks) to facilitate and speed up the use of language technology in Sweden, and it has functioned as a national knowledge hub and competence center for large language models. During the course of the project, we have also established and had continuous exchanges with our counterparts in the other Nordic and European countries.

Approach and implementation

** Denna text är maskinöversatt ** The strategic program has been built around the following main points: a clear and strong leadership both nationally and internationally regarding large open language models, a strategic project portfolio to maximize the value of the program and with our partners, a strategic work around data and models, with a dedicated data manager and a stated strategy around open models to maximize use and value creation, clear and relevant communication and partner collaboration.
