Important results from the project

The aim was to create better conditions for achieving InfraSweden2030´s specified goals and impacts through better understanding and consideration of developmental barriers within the program´s focus areas. The objective was to map possible obstacles to the development of InfraSweden2030´s focus areas, primarily in regards to the specified goals and impacts specified in the program´s “effektlogik”. The project has been successfull by mapping the development obstacles and making recommendations on how these can be remedied by InfraSweden2030.

Expected long term effects

The project has resulted in a survey of the most important obstacles to development for InfraSweden2030´s impact goals. Both focus area-specific and overall industry-specific barriers are reported. It is also discussed whether the program´s impact goals are realistic and can be achieved. Finally, recommendations are provided on how the development obstacles can be addressed within the framework of the program´s activities. The project´s results will be used for review and further development. of the program´s "effektlogik" and for planning future open calls.

Approach and implementation

The project has been carried out as an interview study with stakeholders and actors important for the area. More than 20 interviews were conducted with the program´s focus area leaders, researchers, industry representatives and interest organizations. The interview study has been based on the following main questions: - Which obstacles does the respondent identify for achieving the impact goals in each focus area? - How realistic is it that the goals may be met? (green, yellow, red) - How does the respondent view the SIP´s possibilities to remedy the obstacles and meet the objective?

The project description has been provided by the project members themselves and the text has not been looked at by our editors.
