Purpose and goal

Aim: enable AI implementation in Swedish healthcare to improve quality and efficiency. The collaboration with Unity Health Toronto creates a platform for knowledge sharing in AI leadership, data science and experience exchange. One of the sub-projects will test the platform and show how transatlantic cooperation can accelerate AI use. The goal is to scale up and create a global AI standard in healthcare, which strengthens Sweden´s and Canada´s position in the field.

Expected effects and result

The project is expected to increase AI maturity within healthcare organizations, which in the long term enables more efficient development and implementation of AI solutions that improve patient care, relieve employees and streamline resource use. The project also leads to skill development for AI developers and leaders in healthcare, through participating organizations gaining insights into the latest AI methods and best practices from an internationally leading actor.
