Important results from the project

The AI Sweden Startup Program is a strategic partner program for AI Sweden and an important component of AI Sweden´s mission to accelerate the use of AI in the Swedish private and public sectors. The startup program will build a strong community for Swedish AI startups and provide resources, knowledge and networks that support their ambitions to perform and scale. The project´s purpose and goals have been fulfilled during the course of the program and we see a continued interest in the program.

Expected long term effects

The overall goal was to contribute to the development of AI startups in Sweden. We identified a number of activities: AI Startup Landscape map, 3 stages within the Startup program, Learn-Connect-Accelerate. Being part of AI Sweden´s startup program is something that is important for an AI startup as they get access to networks, expertise and technical knowledge. The goals that were set at the start of the program have been fulfilled and we can also see that the number of applications to the program continues to be high, including participation in the various activities that we arrange.

Approach and implementation

Our main focus has been AI startups in Sweden. Based on that, we created a program focusing on 4 different areas. Three stages in the startup program, Learn, Connect, Accelerate which are adapted for AI startups depending on where they are on their journey. The forth activity is the AI Startup Landscape map. Since the start of the program, we have developed and iterated various activities to create the highest possible value for the participants. In general terms, the strategy and implementation of the program have created successful results.
