Purpose and goal

The mission of AI Sweden is to accelerate the use of applied AI for the benefit of our society, our competitiveness and for everyone living in Sweden. AI Sweden functions as an engine for the Swedish AI ecosystem and has a significant impact on Swedish industry´s competitiveness, attractiveness for talent and investments, and societal development. By catalyzing joint investments in knowledge and resources that many can access, as well as jointly increasing Sweden´s attractiveness, significant value can be achieved for both individual organizations and the ecosystem as a whole.

Expected effects and result

By 2030 AI Sweden shall have contributed to the following Long-term Effects: Sustainable AI driven growth in industry and public organisations Sweden has sufficient volume of Applied AI expertise, competence and resources Sweden is attractive for international investment and talent Sweden applies AI in an inclusive and sustainable way

Planned approach and implementation

AI Sweden aims to develop a strong ecosystem in industry, academia and the public sector, and to accelerate innovation and applied research by actively working with the ecosystem. Our ability to concretely accelerate the use of AI depends on our partners contribution and active commitment and activities are designed and developed together with them. Activities includes Networks, AI Transformation, Data Factory, Strategic initiatives and applied project, Talent, Internationalization, Communications and Public affairs.
