Important results from the project
The overall goal with this collaboration between WhiteBox and Axiomatics was to combine the complementary areas of expertise, which these companies have, to achieve an efficient centralized system for entitlement management and enforcement of access permissions in information systems.
Expected long term effects
The results have exceeded our expectations. The partial project goals defined for separate work packages have been reached. One of the 12 work packages has not been completed as intended within the time frame of the project and must therefore be continued outside the scope of the project. All other parts have reached their goals, in many cases with an extended scope. For Axiomatics the project has therefore been very successful with a result that all in all exceeds our original expectations.
Approach and implementation
The project was divided into different work packages which were evenly distributed between the partners. For overall effects each company had to enhance its product functionality and this work was divided in a manner aimed at minimizing dependencies. One area relating to integration requires further efforts. The delay is partly a reflection of success in other areas since they introduced an increased scope.
