Purpose and goal
Due to policy-related obstacles, the growing demand for advanced skills and lifelong learning, particularly in advanced digitalization, is a challenge for universities, higher education institutions (HEIs), and the industry. This research project aims to explore the potential benefits of policy changes in this domain.
Expected effects and result
The expected outcome is a or more flexible concept models surpassing current structures in providing advanced digital skills education. The project will generate knowledge about necessary policy changes and implementation mechanisms, substantiated by concrete experiments and trials. Findings will be disseminated in both academia and industry. This project explores opportunities to which policy changes could contribute to the supply of advanced digitalization skills, with the aim to create a well-functioning, adaptable educational concept model for the industrial sector.
Planned approach and implementation
Through the establishment of an Advanced Digital Skills Policy Lab for Academic Transformation (ADAPT), the project will perform thorough evaluation of various policy modifications in higher education. The work will be done in collaboration with industry stakeholders and government entities.
