Important results from the project

We applied for funding from Vinnova to commercialize a prototype for a digital product that aims to provide high-quality and scalable researcher trainings to academics across the world. With Vinnovas funding we have been able to take important steps to test and validate the product and the underlying business model, market and sell the product in an initial phase to clients in the Nordics, and map out an IP-strategy.

Expected long term effects

The Vinnova grant has helped us commercialize our product. Specifically, we have during the project: 1) tested our product with clients in Sweden and Finland, with very positive feedback, 2) developed our business model to a validated version we are now using, 3) marketed and closed contracts with clients in Denmark, Sweden and Finland, 4) worked out an IP-strategy. These successful outcomes provide us with a foundation to take the next steps toward scaling up our activities.

Approach and implementation

The achieve the project’s objectives we have: a) selected, recruited and used relevant test groups to test our product, b) iteratively developed our business model based on clients’ input and continually reviewing the processes behind our the delivery of our product to calibrate the business model’s assumptions, c) relaunched our website to consolidate our product portfolio, d) identified and acquired potential clients, e) worked out an IP strategy together with an IP consultancy.
