Important results from the project
The project aims to create a unique virtual card game w here participants, for the first time, are both players as w ll as being represented as playing cards. The card values are based on players actual performance data in connected gaming services. The overall project goal is to deliver an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) ready for the market and that this w ill facilitate the raising of external funding for further commercialization and expansion.
Expected long term effects
The project is expected to result in a verified technical and business model. The technical track focuses on data integration, game concept and balance as w ell as cheat detection and management . In the commercial track, the focus lies on the revenue and partnership model. A successful project is expected to open up for deeper direct integration (native) with game developers and related services to further analyze the performance metrics which is the basis for the game mechanics.
Approach and implementation
The project consists of three main tracks: a detailed feasibility study, development and partnerships . The feasibility study is follow ed by development while the partnership track runs in parallel. These tracks are in turn divided into 14 work packages.
