Important results from the project
The goal of the 4S project is to identify strong Swedish development projects with a focus on Smart Industry, and to connect these with ongoing developing work of new international standards. In this way, Sweden can increase its impact on the new international standards forming the base for future technical development. The 4S project has identified and supported 14 development projects. To describe the value-creating role of standardization, both historically and in the future, a report/booklet has also been produced by the 4S project.
Expected long term effects
The 4S project has identified and supported 14 development projects. The 4S project has published a report that describe the value-creating role of standardization, both historically and in the future.
Approach and implementation
The 4S-project has identified 14 development projects which have been offered support regarding standardisation. With each development project, the 4S-project has had several discussions to conclude which international standard (and associated working group) is the most relevant to the development project. Thereafter, the development project has received financial support to be able to participate in the development work of this standard.
