Important results from the project
The purpose of the project has been to develop a technology and process for obtaining resource-efficient production of 3D patterned sheet metal. We have developed a manufacturing process and processes as well as verified these by attempts, which have taken place in different stages within the framework of the respective work packages. We have thus met the goal of the project.
Expected long term effects
The project has resulted in new technologies and developed processes for producing 3D patterned sheet metal. The entire manufacturing chain for three-dimensional patterned sheet has been tested through various trials and studies. We have received results that verify the manufacturing and process we have developed within the framework of the project. The results have shown that it is feasible to manufacture three-dimensional patterned sheet with the manufacturing and process path we investigated in the Project.
Approach and implementation
The project has been divided into work packages with sub-goals on the respective packages, which have been implemented according to an agile project model. As the project model is new to the company, they have also increased skills and security in implementing projects of this size.
