What experiences do you take with you from Silicon Valley?

We are incredibly good at testing and validating ideas in Sweden. What I take with me from Silicon Valley and which complements the Swedish ecosystem well is the ability to scale and to do it quickly. How organizations can go from vision to implementation and scaling in a short time regardless of whether it is a private or public organization, service/product or law/policy.

Based on your experiences, what would you like to contribute to the Swedish innovation system?

To showcase the Swedish ecosystem to a greater extent. Silicon Valley is often ranked as the most central innovation hub with access to capital, competence and opportunities. It is refreshing to see that Sweden stands tall in comparison on most points. In certain areas such as mobility, we have come further than Silicon Valley regarding policy all the way to implementation.
