Singapore has one of the world's most well-developed healthcare systems, often praised for its efficiency. With a combination of public and private healthcare providers who both have a strong focus on availability, quality and affordability. At the same time, Singapore faces a tough challenge with a super-aging population where almost one in five Singaporeans is 65 or the elderly (similar to Sweden).
With a shrinking and aging workforce and rising healthcare costs, there is a need to reshape healthcare by, among other things, leveraging technology and data to facilitate better decision-making and promote healthier behaviours.
To maintain its health care system, Singapore has adopted strategies focusing on prevention and health promotion efforts aimed at including the entire population to become healthy and take responsibility.
A delegation trip to Singapore is planned for 18-22 November. In preparation aim a webinar has been arranged. To get access to the recordings, contact Mikaela Annerling.
Another webinar will be held to raise awareness of the healthcare sector in Singapore and how innovations are being implemented to support the healthcare system in its transformation.
To initiate dialogues before the delegation, digital knowledge sharing events will be held on a few selected topics. Do you have suggestions or thoughts on areas you are interested in? Want to know more about the delegation trip? Don't hesitate to get in touch
