During this information meeting you will get a background to Mission Cancer and hear more about what has happened so far at EU and national level in the work towards the mission. You will also hear about future investments and opportunities such as the flagship projects (UNCAN.eu and European Cancer Patient Digital Centre)) which are developed within the framework of Mission Cancer.
The goal of Mission Cancer is to improve the lives of 3 million people before 2030 through prevention, treatment and increased quality of life for those affected by cancer and their families. In order to reach this ambitious objective, the EU is working to contribute to increasing collaboration between different sectors such as healthcare and research. With the ambition to work mission-oriented, cross-border collaborations between actors such as researchers, companies, authorities, regions and civil society are encouraged.
