A major system change is required to successfully switch to fossil-free, safe, equal and efficient road transport. This means new innovative ways of working, broad collaborations and completely new solutions where we work with several system perspectives in parallel.
On June 1, FFI opens the opportunity to apply for funding for preparatory projects and system demonstrators that accelerate the transition. The call for proposals, which takes place within the Accelerate sub-programme, refers to project with high technical maturity and a focus on system innovation and how the solutions are received by users to contribute to societal benefit. The projects must gather relevant actors for system solutions that can be demonstrated in a physical environment and have potential to be implemented within a few years.
