The meeting is digital. Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the meeting. The meeting will be held in Swedish.
The ongoing EU partnership program Key Digital Technologies (KDT) JU will be transformed into Chips JU, according to the proposal in Chips Act. Chips JU will become a larger partnership program with several different efforts, such as a European network of competence centers in semiconductor technologies.
Vinnova invites you to an information meeting about the planned European network of competence centers in Chips JU and opens for questions and dialogue about it.
The European Commission launched Chips Act in February 2022 with the objective of strengthening Europe's competitiveness and resilience in semiconductor technologies and applications and to support green and digital transformation. The European Commission expects that the ongoing negotiation about Chips Act with member states and the parliament will be completed in May 2023. Funding for the Swedish competence center comes from the European Commission and the Swedish state (Vinnova).
For those of you who want to start a competence centre
We address participants who are interested in starting a national competence center in semiconductors for support to SMEs, start-ups, industry and academia.
Are you interested in knowing more about the European competence center in Chips JU? Don't miss that opportunity!
If you are interested in the whole and other parts of Chips JU such as industrial collaboration projects, pilot lines or new design platforms for semiconductors, you should rather participate in Vinnova's information meeting on May 9. The registration link can be found in Vinnova's calendar on the website.
