As an independent federal foundation and flagship program, SDTC funds Canadian entrepreneurs who create jobs, growth and long-term prosperity for Canada. SDTC is relentlessly focused on supporting companies to grow and scale in an increasingly competitive marketplace. 

Since inception, SDTC has invested over $1.53 billion in Canadian companies, creating nearly 20,942 jobs. SDTC funded companies have reduced greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 22.6 megatonnes annually – equivalent to taking almost 7 million cars off the roads every year.

Vinnova is Sweden´s innovation agency. Every year, Vinnova invests approximately SEK 3 billion in research and innovation in different sectors. Learn more about how Vinnova designs programs and calls to strengthen public sector innovation- and sustainability capabilities.
