advanceddigitalisering.seAI for advanced digitalization
We target consortia that together can contribute to the development of advanced and innovative solutions in artificial intelligence (AI). The aim is to strengthen Sweden´s capacity and innovative capacity within AI and create the next generation of digital solutions. By advanced and innovative AI we mean project which has a high level of innovation and results in innovative validated technology. It can be demonstrators, prototypes or pilot installations in the form of, for example, models, tools, applications, frameworks and platforms.

What can you apply for?
Research and innovation projects, with an AI-related problem at the center, which are driven by industrial needs and which, through collaboration, develop enabling technologies and capabilities, with a focus on advanced and innovative digitalization.
Who can apply?
A consortium with at least two participants, of which at least one industrial participant in the form of a company. In addition to companies, universities, university colleges, research institutes and other relevant organizations can participate.
How much can you apply for?
It is possible to apply for between SEK 2 and 7 million in funding per project. The grant may correspond to a maximum of 50 percent of the project´s eligible costs. The call´s preliminary budget is SEK 40 million.

To apply for funding, you need to log in and complete an application form in our eServices portal. The application form contains questions about your project, the participants taking part in the project and your budget.

When your proposal has been registered, we email a confirmation to the person responsible for the user account as well as to the project manager and the signatory. This may take a few hours after the call for proposals closes. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours after the call for proposals closes, please contact us.
When the call for proposals is closed, you cannot change or fill in any new information. Then you can only supplement your proposal if we ask for it.
Who can read your proposal?
Applications submitted to us become public documents. But we do not disclose information about the business, inventions or research results if it can be assumed that someone will suffer financial damage if the information is shown.
This means that we must hand over the documents if someone requests them. But we keep confidential the information that we judge could mean financial damage if it is disclosed.
