M-ERA.NET Call 2023: Pre-proposal stage
This externally administered call for proposals concerns the funding of ambitious research and development projects that deal with materials research and material innovations in international collaboration. This includes, but is not limited to, materials for low-carbon energy technology and battery materials. The call for proposals is carried out via the network M-ERA.NET, which consists of research and innovation funding organisations from mainly Europe plus a smaller number of non-European countries. What can you apply for?
International collaborative projects regarding material research and material innovations. Vinnova supports project within 4 of 6 thematic areas in M-ERA.NET Call 2023, see www.m-era.net/joint-call-2023/participating-countries-regions-call-2023.
Who can apply?
Companies and research organisations in collaboration with other parties. The international consortium must consist of at least 3 grant-seeking project partners from at least 3 countries participating in M-ERA.NET Call 2023. See the document "Guide for Proposers" for other formal eligibility requirements on consortia composition.
How much can you apply for?
A maximum of SEK 3.5 million to Swedish project participants per project. At least 30 percent of the cost of the Swedish project participation must be incurred by Swedish companies. Of this share, funding can be applied for up to the level permitted under EU state aid rules.
