Does the offer fit your project?

The projects that receive funding can last up to three years and must be a collaboration between at least two Eurostars countries. The project must be coordinated by a researching SME (small and medium-sized enterprise), but in the project consortium, participating parties can also be from academia, research institutes or a large company. Cyprus, Greece or Romania will not take part in this call for proposals.

The participating organizations can receive the following compensation rates:

    • According to the EU definition, small and medium-sized enterprises can apply for funding corresponding to 50 percent of their costs
    • Large companies can apply for funding corresponding to 30 percent of their costs
    • Academics, research institutes or the public sector can apply for funding corresponding to 70 percent of their costs.
    • The company's net sales or equity must correspond to at least half of the requested amount. We want the applicant organizations to be able to present evidence to prove this 2 weeks after the closing date when the financial control of the projects begins. Vinnova will contact the Swedish applicants who need to supplement their proposal with more information / documentation. Valid basis is results- and balance sheet which shows that the organization meets at least one of the requirements. If capital injections need to be made, bank statements for this must also be available. Read more about the financial control and the rest of the evaluation that takes place.
