  • What do we want to finance?

Innovation and collaboration are more important than ever and necessary to achieve a sustainable society. Therefore, we want to finance collaborative projects that become an important part of the societal transformation that is needed and the proposal must clearly demonstrate how you contribute to the sustainability goals in Agenda 2030. Cooperation projects will strengthen Swedish competitiveness through sustainable development and business benefits and lead to increased social benefits.

Important challenges we want to see proposals within are project to reduce the climate impact through the transition to a sustainable industry, production and consumption as well as a fossil-free transport sector. Development of attractive and sustainable cities as well as social innovations that lead to reduced exclusion and a more inclusive society are examples of other challenge areas.

We also need welfare innovations that lead to good health for everyone where solutions for prevention - disease prevention activities - and healthy lifestyles are necessary if we are to meet the challenges of the future health and medical care.
