This is how the web editor works with microsites

Page manager on all microsite pages

In order to maximize the conditions for the content on a microsite to be kept up-to-date and relevant, we need to appoint a page manager on all of the microsite's pages. Today it is often put on the home page of the microsite, but it needs to be on all pages - especially if there are sub-pages that another group is responsible for.

It is always best if the person responsible for the page is the person who helped produce the content. Appointing a head of division who has not been involved in the work is rarely successful. Being responsible for the page means that you have to have a good grasp of the content and have time to review it regularly.

Place your best bet

Since few microsites are found through the menu, we need to help our visitors find them. Therefore, we need to enter best bets for concepts that a visitor uses to search for information on the site.

Convert to other pages

It is important that we link the microsite to other pages to lead the visitor on to other relevant material. It is good web practice that there is always a next step when you reach the end of a page. This also increases conversion.

On microsites, it is therefore possible to link to or push for:

• Related solicitations - through the dynamic AO list block
• Calendar events, either from the global calendar tagged, or the local calendar - through the calendar list block
• News, either from the global news list tagged, or the local news list - through the news list block
• To subscribe to our newsletter or monitoring email via Apsis
• Other microsites, such as puffblock
• Articles from relevant podcast episodes - as puff blocks
• Related live broadcasts or informational videos – such as video blocks or video puff blocks
• Related publications – like puff blocks
• At Sidan Så, we strengthen the ability to innovate - like puff blocks

The easiest way to do puffs for most pages is to drag the page you want to puff for from the menu structure to a puff surface on the microsite page.

Translate microsites into English

All pages are translated into English. Using our translation gadget, the editor creates an English version of the page. She then checks that the English title, introduction, puff text and SEO texts look ok. Other text on the English page does not need to be edited. It automatically gets a disclaimer explaining that the page is machine translated.

Translate pages to English
