This report presents the evaluation of five VINNVÄXT-initiatives:

• GöteborgBIO
• New Tools for Health
• ProcessIT Innovations
• Triple Steelix
The initiatives evaluated were the second generation of initiatives to be funded by the
VINNVÄXT programme which commenced in 2004.
The objective of the VINNVÄXT programme is to promote sustainable growth based
on international competitiveness in regions, by developing the innovation system’s
functionality, dynamics and efficiency in functional regions to an international level.
