The Knowledge Triangle is one of VINNOVA's strategic areas. The Knowledge Triangle aims to create an interaction between education, research and innovation thereby creating the conditions for increased relevance and utilisation of universities’ activities.
VINNOVA’s efforts are strengthened through a well-functioning knowledge triangle in universities, for which reason VINNOVA supports the development of universities’ capacity to lead and prioritise in a way that helps research results get utilised.
An important part of this is efforts contributing to increased mobility between universities on the one hand and industry on the other. Other programmes will increase the capacity for partnerships between universities and other actors in the Swedish innovation system. Another important element is incubators associated with universities and focusing on increased utilisation of research results to help companies grow.
