TAFTIE

Co-operation association for innovation agencies in Europe

TAFTIE (The Association for Technology Implementation in Europe) is an organisation for co-operation between innovation agencies in the European countries. TAFTIE was founded in 1992 and now has 17 members from 16 countries, including VINNOVA. TAFTIE aims to provide a forum in which the members can co-operate and learn from each other. The organisation also works actively to extend co-operation with the European Commission and to help form European partnerships.

Sweden will chair the organisation in 2006 and will thus be responsible for pursuing various issues and arranging meetings. On 1 June, TAFTIE arranged a workshop on ERA-NET and on 29-30 November the organisation’s central annual conference will be held in Stockholm.
